About UPTOX

Founder-led global GTM for complex B2B technology companies

UPTOX is a founder-led B2B technology marketing and global GTM consultancy. We help leadership teams choose priority markets and buyers, clarify product value, build credible demand, and turn qualified leads into sales opportunities.

The goal is not to do more marketing. It is to decide what matters, why it matters, and where limited resources can make the greatest business impact.

Why UPTOX was created

Global expansion requires more than resources. It requires the right choices.

Many technology companies have strong products, engineering, and delivery capabilities. When they enter a new market, however, what worked in one context cannot simply be copied into another.

They must decide which markets to enter, who the real target buyers are, why those buyers need the product, and why they should choose it.

As the business grows internationally, the challenges become more connected: the brand may lack trust, marketing may not create consistent qualified demand, event contacts may not become opportunities, and sales may not know which leads deserve attention.

If the market is wrong, more promotion can create more waste.
If product value is unclear, a better website or more advertising will not persuade buyers.
If marketing and sales are disconnected, more leads will not reliably become orders.

UPTOX helps leadership teams identify the issues that genuinely constrain growth, set priorities, and decide what to do next, who should own it, and where resources should go.

Why the name UPTOX

From the current market to the next stage of growth

UPTOX comes from “Up to X.”

X can be a new market, a new customer group, or the next position the company aims to reach.

International growth is not a copy-and-paste exercise. Markets differ in customer needs, competition, buying behavior, and business rules.

Companies need to rethink who they should serve, what customers value, whether their current advantages still hold, and how to become understood, trusted, and chosen.

UPTOX helps B2B technology companies translate product expertise, technical capability, and industry knowledge into a competitive advantage that buyers recognize.

From Local Ambition to Global Growth.

How we help

Decide what matters first. Then act.

UPTOX uses a focused, specialist consulting model. The work does not begin with a list of marketing activities. It begins by identifying the real issue, deciding what matters first, and choosing what should—or should not—be done now.

01

Clarify the direction

Before adding more marketing activity, align on the purpose of international growth, priority markets, target customers, product value, and reasons to choose.

Once the direction is clear, brand, marketing, and sales can work from the same foundation.

02

Connect brand, demand, and sales

The 7P Method examines the full international growth system. The 3D Brand Model looks at stature, reach, and depth. MTL and LTO trace the path from market activity to qualified leads, sales opportunities, and orders.

Each method exists to make priorities clearer and business impact easier to judge.

03

Founder-led, specialist-supported

Wilson leads the strategy and key client decisions. Brand, websites, content, SEO, digital marketing, and media relations may require additional specialist expertise.

UPTOX brings in specialist partners when needed while remaining accountable for direction, coordination, and quality.

Where our experience is strongest

Complex products, long sales cycles, and multi-stakeholder decisions

RoboticsArtificial intelligenceEnergy technology & EV chargingConnected devicesMedical technologyMaterials scienceIndustrial technology

UPTOX's experience is concentrated in robotics, AI, energy technology and EV charging, connected devices, medical technology, materials science, and other industrial technology sectors.

These businesses share several characteristics: complex products, cautious buyers, and long sales cycles. One buying decision may involve users, management, technical teams, procurement, finance, and channel partners.

B2B technology marketing therefore cannot stop at awareness and traffic. It must help buyers understand the product, build confidence, give buyers a clear reason to choose, and support sales throughout a complex decision process.

We focus on whether the brand is understood correctly, whether marketing reaches customers worth pursuing, and whether market investment translates into opportunities and business results.

How we work

Four principles we hold to

01

Choose before adding

Do not add more activity until market, customer, and product priorities are clear.

When resources are limited, what you choose matters more than how much you do.

02

A brand is a reason to choose

For B2B technology companies, brand must help buyers understand the problem solved, the difference from alternatives, and the evidence behind the promise.

03

Marketing must deliver more than attention and lead volume

Effective B2B marketing should create qualified leads worth sales time and real opportunities that can progress through the pipeline.

04

Marketing and sales share responsibility for outcomes

Lead definitions, assignment, follow-up, opportunity progression, and review need one set of rules and one business goal.

Next step

Start with the business issue that deserves attention now

Every company is at a different stage. Some need to choose their first priority market; others have invested internationally for years and need to reconnect brand, demand generation, and sales.
